Laying the intragastric balloon

The pose usually lasts 20 to 30 min, it is done under general anesthesia by introducing the uninflated balloon into your stomach through mouth. This balloon is then filled.

Adaptation to the intragastric balloon

Your doctor will give you strict instructions. It is essential to drink plenty of water the first few days and to eat no solid food. Your body will then adapt to the balloon.

Adoption of your new program

The next six months will be decisive for making the necessary changes: not only will you lose weight but you will learn to avoid resuming it.

Dietary program

Removal of intragastric balloon

After six months, the intragastric balloon is removed during a procedure of about 20 minutes, similar to that of laying. You will be under anesthesia during withdrawal.
