Cookies policy

What are cookies?

A “cookie” is a small text file saved by a website in your computer’s web browser or your mobile device’s browser when you visit this website. The cookie contains a unique code enabling your browser to be recognised when you visit the website (“session cookie”) or on any repeated future visits (“permanent cookie”)

Cookies can be placed by the server of the website you visit or by partners this website works with. A website server can only read the cookies that it has placed itself; there is no access to any other information on your computer or mobile device. The cookies are stored on your computer or mobile device in your browser’s repertory. A cookie’s content is generally made up of the name of the server that has placed the cookie, an expiry date and a unique encrypted code.

Cookies provide a generally easier and faster interaction between the visitor and the website. They also help the visitor move between the different parts of the website. Cookies can also been used to make a website’s content or the advertising present on this site more appropriate for the visitor and adapt the website to the visitor’s personal tastes and needs.

Use of cookies

We use different types of cookie:

1/ Essential cookies

These cookies are required to enable you to visit our websites and use certain parts of them. These cookies enable you, for example, to browse between the various pages of the websites, fill in the forms, place orders and update the contents of your basket (if a web shop is accessible). Furthermore, if you wish to access your personal account, cookies are essential for securely checking your identity before granting access to your personal details. If you reject these cookies, some of the website’s pages will not work as they should, or even not at all.

2/ Functional cookies

Functional cookies are cookies designed to facilitate our websites’ operation, to make them more pleasant to use for the visitor and to give you a more personalised browsing experience. These are, for example, cookies that remember your choice of language or your customer segment, or cookies that memorise if you have already been invited to participate in a survey, so that the same survey is not offered to you on each visit.

3/ Performance cookies

We use performance cookies to collect information on the use made of our websites by visitors, in order to improve the content, better adapt them to visitors’ wishes and increase their user-friendliness. So, for example, we use a cookie that counts the number of single visitors and another analysing the popularity of our pages.
